# COVID-CHAOS DAY 2

Well, it’s day two of Corona-Chaos and I miss y’all.  First, I want to make sure to remind you that this is NOT a Spring Break addition.  Stay  home – not with your friends.  Enjoy your family, go outside and play.  These are some of the last days you will have to enjoy your childhood because things are going to get BUSY when we get back.

Next, I’m bored.  I am going to start posting the highlights of Geometry for you to learn and enjoy.  I am thinking about doing videos but that takes my husband away from his job and then your parents will know what a spazz I really am.

So, for today you will have to deal with links to other math-nerds.

We are going to learn the Pythagorean Theorem.  *Your parents PROBABLY remember this one from their childhood.  It’s one of the “famous lessons.”

${a}^{2}+{b}^{2}={c}^{2}$

However, I hate that version because “c” is not always “c.”  Confused yet?   Don’t be.  A triangle has 3 sides…. a leg (a) , another leg (b), and a HYPOTENUSE (c).

The two legs meet at the right angle.
